I'm not sure making that statement was a smart move considering the endless rumors over the years of her and Will's swinger lifestyle. Anyhoo, read excerpts from Jada's interview below where she comments on working with an all female cast and how she felt about her kissing scene with Eva Mendes. "I play a lesbian, which is fantastic, and I got to be in love with Eva Mendes, which is even more fantastic. Will was like, 'Oh, I had her already. You can have my leftovers'. I love Eva. That's my girl. They took my favorite scene out. I thought I was going to get the opportunity to kiss Eva Mendes, but that didn't happen......I know a lot of lesbians. A lot of them! I got a ton of lesbians that are friends of mine. You know what? I think there’s a lesbian inside of me somewhere that I just pulled out [Laughs]. The young lady I blogged about last week Ms. Shawnte Wells has died. It's being reported that was taken off life support. Ms. Wells was shot by David Price, 30, her supposed boyfriend and then he drove to a Jonesboro, GA cemetery where he turned the gun on himself.

Police found Price’s body lying near his mother’s grave. When police went to his home to notify his next of kin, they found Wells suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head. She was transported to the hospital where she remained in critical condition without ever regaining consciousness.

I found this great little invention online. If you're a cat lover and have a problem with litter being around the litterbox; this might be a solution. It's kinda ugly, but you could switch it up and get something similar and more to your own taste. But the concept seems solid.

I found the clever cat, but its a little to expensive for me. I figured I could make something really close to it, and you know what, it worked. All you have to do is get a storage container, I used a 21 gallon. Then cut a hole in the top and you are done! I traced a plate and cut a hole with my utility knife, a sharp blade helps. I filed the edges to make it a little more smooth but you wouldn't need to. You can cut the hole whatever size works for your cats. If you get a scoop that clips on the side, it will even clip on the side before you put the top on. You could cut a piece of carpet to place on top to catch the little bit of litter that does come out. It really helps keep dogs out of the box and litter in!

SEPTEMBER 24–Meet Jose Cruz. In the long history of American jurisprudence, the West Virginia man may be the first defendant to ever be charged with passing gas in the face of a law enforcement officer. Cruz, 34, was driving with his car’s headlights off Monday night when he was pulled over by West Charleston cops, who noted that Cruz appeared to be intoxicated. After failing a series of field sobriety tests, Cruz was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he allegedly committed another offense, according to a September 23 criminal complaint (a copy of which you can find here). While being fingerprinted, Cruz allegedly “lifted his leg and passed gas loudly on Ptlm. Parsons. The defendant then fanned the air with his hand in front of his rear onto” the cop. “The gas,” the complaint notes, “was very odorous and created contact of an insulting or provoking nature with Ptlm. Parsons.” In addition to the DUI count, Cruz was also charged with battery on a police officer for the farting incident. Cruz is currently being held in a Charleston jail on the misdemeanor charges.

Tasha has created at least 30 Myspace profiles to exploit her young daughters who use excessive profanity in videos posted on their Myspace pages. Tasha encourages her daughters to curse like sailors, dress provocatively and pose seductively in photos plastered all over their Myspace pages.

On Friday (9/19) someone at Myspace deleted one of the little girl’s pages. But are they blind? They left intact at least 10 pages in her friend’s list that appeared to exploit young children.

SEPTEMBER 19--A Wisconsin man serving time for reckless homicide yesterday was awarded $295,000 by a federal jury that found the inmate's constitutional rights were violated when he was forced to spend two months sleeping on a moldy, waterlogged mattress. Reggie Townsend, 29, scored the six-figure windfall after a U.S. District Court panel decided that he was improperly treated while locked up in late-2004 at the New Lisbon Correctional Institution.


The jury's special verdict can be found below. Following a jail riot, Townsend spent about 60 days in a 12' x 6' segregation unit he shared with another state inmate. During that period, the jury found that Townsend had to sleep on the cell floor atop a thin mattress adjacent to the shower. The mattress, Townsend claimed, soon became "wet, moldy and foul smelling" and was not replaced despite his complaints to jail guards. Though he did not suffer any physical harm from the unsanitary bedding, Townsend was deprived of the "minimal civilized measure of life's necessities," the jury decided after deliberating six hours. While the $295,000 punitive damage award was levied against Jerry Allen, a corrections officer, the State of Wisconsin may end up on the hook for the alleged actions (or inaction) of its employee. Townsend is serving 23 years for his role in a Milwaukee street shootout that left an 11-year-old girl dead. The child was hit by a stray bullet while inside her grandmother's home.

Natalie Cole Hospitalized

Natalie Cole has suffered a setback in her treatment for hepatitis C and has been hospitalized in New York, PEOPLE has learned. The side effects of Cole’s grueling chemotherapy treatment for the liver disease, paired with a strenuous promotional schedule in support of her just-released new album Still Unforgettable, are what led to the Grammy winner’s hospitalization, her reps tell. Cole, 58, was diagnosed with the liver disease in April and has been free of the hepatitis C virus since starting treatment this summer. She will return to her home in Los Angeles in the coming days and will be on a month-long bed rest so she can recuperate, say her reps. She is also postponing her planned October performances.

“It’s debilitating,” she said. “My hair is starting to fall out [from the
chemo]. I lost 15 lbs. and I looked like a scarecrow.” Cole said her “the show must go on” philosophy has helped her cope with her health issues.

A Georgia Man Shoots His Girlfriend and Kills Himself

A College Park man, who police say may have been despondent over the recent death of his mother, shot his girlfriend Monday at their home and then drove to a Jonesboro cemetery where he shot himself at his mother’s grave site.

According to the AJC, David Wayne Price, 30, was found dead of a single self-inflicted gun shot wound at a Jonesboro cemetery where his mother is buried and he also has a plot.
When police went to his home to notify his next of kin, they found his girlfriend, 25-year-old Shawnte Wells, suffering from a gun shot wound to the head.

Wells is reportedly in very critical condition at Grady hospital and may not make it, according to friends.

Friends say Wells was a close friend of rapper Lil’ Wayne’s ex-wife and baby mama, Antonia “Toya” Carter. The friends pose together in numerous photos on Wells’ private Myspace page.

The movie tells the story of how in 2005, Steve Lopez, an LA Times journalist, discover Ayers on his way to work. Ayers was playing the violin.

Steve befriended Ayers and wrote a series of articles that drew a lot of attention. Robert Downey Jr. plays the role of Steve Lopez the journalist.

Gucci, who beat a murder rap in 2005 after he got set up by a stripper in Atlanta [at the time, street chatter said Jeezy was behind it], violated parole on a assault charge he received for a different incident in '05 where he beat a promoter over the head with a pool cue. Gucci, who served 6 months and was supposed to put in 600 hours community service for the pool cue incident, was arrested last Friday after dropping dirty for weed, ecstasy and alcohol and only for only doing 25 hours of community service in 3 years. A Priest Cuaght Selling Coke From Church

A priest was caught selling cocaine from church:

A Catholic priest on the University of Illinois campus has been charged with selling cocaine from his church office and rectory. The Reverend Christopher Layden pleaded not guilty Thursday to two counts of delivery of less than 1 gram of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church and one count of possession with intent to deliver 1 to 15 grams of cocaine near a church. The 33-year-old was arrested Wednesday at St. John’s Catholic Newman Center after investigators found 3 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia while searching his home and office. His bond was set at $50,000. The arrest followed a two-week police investigation of local drug sales.

Kanye West Gets in Altercation with TMZ and Goes To Jail

Kanye West went to jail today ya'll. Now you know it's not like Kanye to be into any kind of "wanted by the police" kinda business. But we also know how funny he can be. I don't know what this photographer was trying to film but I tell you what. He won't do that again.

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Police arrested rapper-producer Kanye West on Thursday morning at Los Angeles International Airport on felony vandalism charges after an altercation with two paparazzi, airport police said.

The incident near the airport's Terminal 4 involved the rap star; his road manager and bodyguard, Don Crowley; and a photographer and a cameraman who were taking their photos, airport police said.

The cameras of the paparazzi were damaged in the altercation, police said.
West, 31, and Crowley were both arrested on charges of felony vandalism.
Initial police reports that said Crowley also had been charged with battery were incorrect, police said.

West, a 10-time Grammy winner, and Crowley were in the airport to catch a flight to Honolulu, Hawaii, police said.

The pair were outside passenger security screening when the incident took place. Both men were taken to a Los Angeles police station for booking, airport police said.

Neither of the paparazzi were identified.

Celebrity Web site TMZ reported that the rap star is said to have grabbed a photographer's camera as the photographer was snapping pictures of West. The site posted a video of the incident shot by one of its reporters, who was also in the terminal.

The video was short and chaotic, and the man whom TMZ identifies as West never shows his face, which is shrouded in the hood of a gray sweatshirt.

According to the Web site, after West grabbed the camera from the photographer, Crowley took it from him, leaving the rap star with the lighting component.

The video shows the man in the gray sweatshirt and another man in a red sweatshirt, whom TMZ identifies as Crowley, each smashing parts of a camera on the floor.

The man in red then approaches another camera as it is filming. He reaches out for the camera, and it appears that a struggle ensues. As airport officials arrive, the man walks off.

TMZ reported that after the incident with the first photographer, Crowley grabbed the TMZ reporter's camera and broke it.
Police stopped West and Crowley as they tried to leave to go through security to board a plane, the Web site said.

Monique Speaks Out About Being Molested and Her New Role as a Mom Who Molests Her Daughter

MO'NIQUE IN OCTOBER 2008 ISSUE OF ESSENCE MAGAZINE

Mo’Nique is featured on the upcoming cover of Essence magazine’s October 2008 issue. In this issue she reveals that she was sexually abused by her older brother from the age of 7 until she was 11 years old.

"I was molested by my older brother. And even when I confronted him and told my parents, he said I was lying and nothing was really done,’ she says."

Monique's parents didn't believe her. Her brother, who is 10 years older than her, molested her four times over the next four years after following her into the bathroom and giving her candy. Mo’Nique finally told her parents again.

“I’m not blaming my parents because me and my brother were both their children, and I just don’t know the kind of position they felt they were in. My father was very upset, but it never got mentioned again. I’ll never forget my mother saying, ’If it’s true, it will surface again,’ and I remember thinking, Why would I lie? Why is there even an if in this? I was angry with them for so long, because I felt as if they should have seen what was happening. It seems celebrities always come out with these stories. But we’re real people, and a lot of real people get molested."

Regarding what her brother is gonna say about her putting him rightfully on blast.

“It makes me nervous. It’s like, Oh, God, what will it do to him when people read this? And then another part of me is like, Goddammit it, it’s my obligation to let people know, and to tell women to watch their children. I’ve never gotten a genuine ‘I’m sorry’ from my brother. He still acts like he doesn’t know what I’m talking about. So screw hurting your feelings! You need to get your feelings hurt, and you need to get some help. Because I never said anything--didn’t go to the police or a counselor--my brother went on to do terrible things to someone else. He went on to sexually abuse another girl.”

For that crime, her brother was arrested, convicted and served 15 years in prison.

"[After my birth delivery] my mother put my twin boys (who are now three years old) in my brother’s arms and I suddenly thought, I can’t do this anymore. I can’t pretend. I didn’t want to make a scene at the hospital, but when I got home I called my brother and said, ‘You know what? If I never see you again in life, I’m okay. I wish you no harm, but I don’t choose to ever deal with you again.’

Parents, please listen if your baby comes to you and says anything like ‘I was uncomfortable with the way he looked at me or the way he touched me.’ Listen to them. Molestation has a damaging effect. I tried on several occasions to turn the pain of molestation into humor, but never could. I was too embarrassed to do therapy because I was always told it was a White woman’s thing. But therapy for me has been beautiful because I’m learning not to be a victim."
Mo'Nique's has not been in touch with her brother since.

Mom Sentenced to Life In Prison For Killing Her 1 Month Old Baby Girl

China Arnold had been facing the death penalty for cooking her baby in a microwave oven. She was actually sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for the aggravated murder of her one-month-old daughter Paris Talley in 2005.

Allegedly Arnold was drunk and put the baby in the microwave after having a arguement with her then boyfriend regarding the paternity of the child.

In her own words she said "I killed my baby'. "I wrapped her up. I put her in the microwave. I turned the microwave on and I went outside. She fit right in'."

John Paul Rion, defending Arnold, said the evidence would show Arnold did not purposely take the life of her baby. Coroner's officials have said the baby suffered high-heat internal injuries and had no external burns.

They tried to say that other people had access to the baby, that Arnold was intoxicated to the point of blacking out when the child died and that people questioned about the case had changed their stories.

Arnold was not in court for the sentencing in Dayton, Ohio, actually watched the preceding from a side room.

Arnold's first trial was declared a mistrial after her defence team claimed an eight-year-old boy was responsible for the baby's death. But she was found guilty at a retrial last month after the boy's mother told the court they were not at Arnold's home when the baby died.

At the time of baby Paris' death, Arnold lived with her four children and then-boyfriend Terrell Talley in a flat at a housing complex, which has since been condemned. Prosecutors told the court how she put her daughter in the microwave and cooked her to death after an argument with Talley over whether he was the baby's biological father.

It's such a shame that things like this happen.

Flint, Michigan rapper MC Breed is in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital in Atlanta where he is on life support due to kidney failure. His manager, Darryl Morris, said the rapper, born Eric Breed, was playing a game of pickup basketball Friday evening (September 5) in Atlanta, when he collapsed and fell unconscious.

“He had to be revived three times,” his manager said. “He had to be rushed to the hospital where they diagnosed him and told him his kidney’s have failed.” Now, MC Breed, 36, is in serious need of a kidney transplant and is seeking a donor to help save his life. Breed's manager told AllHipHop.com that a number of rappers are being contacted to participate in a benefit concert for the revered rapper, which will take place in his hometown of Michigan. “We are hoping we can find Breed a kidney through this process, before its too late,” Morris said.

Breed was recently taken off of life support because he is doing better. My prayers go out to MC Breed and his family.

Darius, on the other hand, claims she attacked him, jumping on his car while trying to smash out his windows.

Well, he says Superhead was bonkers that night and he was trying to leave when she jumped on the hood.

So I turn to MTV...When Roving Reporter Chick...ACP told me Lil Wayne was performing in some little ass white boy clothes.....and was really looking Gremlin-like.

Not only did I NOT even know it was coming on....the show was boring as hell.

And yes Little Wayne's clothes were too damn little. I mean his sagging straight leg pants looked like they really were a size 2....yuck...me no likey that look.

Bobby Brown is planning to wed again after confirming he and manager/girlfriend Alicia Etheredge are an item.

The R&B star has scored a nice payday for being dumped from R. Kelly's road show last year. A Los Angeles judge has ordered Kelly's promoter to pony up $700,320 to the "Because of You" Grammy winner.

Ne-Yo went to court in December, alleging he was bounced from the Double Up tour because his opening set was getting better reaction from fans and critics than Kelly's. The bill also featured Keyshia Cole and J. Holiday.

Superior Court Judge Malcolm Mackey made his default judgment after Georgia-based Rowe Entertainment refused to respond to the lawsuit filed by Ne-Yo under his real name, Shaffer Smith.

Per his suit, Ne-Yo was supposed to earn $785,000 on the 25-date jaunt, but the 25-year-old performer was canned by Rowe after the second show on Nov. 15 and only received a fraction of the contracted amount.

At the time, the promoter blamed the dismissal on Ne-Yo's camp for not completing the proper paperwork.

There was no immediate comment from either Ne-Yo or Rowe on the judge's ruling. Kelly was not named as a defendant in the suit.

It's shaping up to be a big month for the rising star, whose third studio album, Year of the Gentleman, drops Sept. 16.
