A Brief Look at SuperHead's Boring New Book - BOO

I thought I would let you take a look for free at this garbage. Karrine Steffans is straight crazy. MediaTakeOut.com got a hold of Karrine "Superhead" Steffans new book, The Vixen Diaries. And there's only one word to describe it - BORING!!!!. We had to read that 180 page piece of trash, but why should you. So we've summarized below all of the interesting parts of the book. And trust us, there really isn't very much interesting in it.

What struck us when reading this garbage is that it's obvious that Superhead ran out of interesting stories in her last book. But what's also obvious is that Superhead has absolutely no idea that she's a jump-off. She talks about al these guys like they care about her. But enough of our commentary, here are the highlights:

On Bill Maher:
Superhead says over and over how much she loves him. But it's obvious by the way she talks about him - that he only sees her as just a jump off. She claims to have had a nervous breakdown when he broke up with her. And that she tried "cutting herself" to ease the pain.

When child services found out what she was doing to herself, they took away her son. The boy was in foster care for two weeks before Superhead could get him back.

On Tisha Campbell:
Superhead claims That Tisha Campbell is jealous of TiChina Arnold because TiChina has a show on the air (Everybody Loves Chris) and Tisha's out of work.

On actor Larenz Tate:
She claims that actor Larenz Tate was "intimidated" by her because she was "more successful than he is."

On Dennis Rodman:
She turned him down because he was "bitter and angry" about being a washed up former celebrity.

On Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri:
She says that Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri are "Group B" celebrities - That is, that they're not really famous anymore - but they're "trying to stay" famous.

On Teddy Pendegrass:
She claims that Teddy Pendegrass, although a paraplegic, tried to holler at her.

On Bobby Brown:
Superhead claims to have a special friendship with Bobby Brown. She says that they haven't slept together in years. And that Bobby was homeless and she let him stay at her house.

She said the best thing about Bobby was that he was funny (when not high on crack) and that he was good to her son.

The bad thing about Bobby, according to Superhead, is that he would run off for weeks and go smoke crack with friends. And that he would bring all kinds of relatives over to stay with her.

Finally, after Bobby ran off to Vegas to get drunk and smoke crack with Mike Tyson, Superhead kicked him out.

On Ray J:
She claims to have had a brief fling with Ray J. The first time they had sex. she called out Bill Maher's name. They had sex a few more times - each time either Superhead or Ray J left immediately afterwards.

On Mike Tyson:
Superhead said, "His kisses are like uppercuts and his lovemaking is like a title match ... and Mike Tyson is a biter." She continued, "I was in excruciating pain as we continued in this manner for several hours. Finally at the end of our first tryst, I was spent, and covered in bruises and bite marks."

On Antonio Tarver:
She dated Antonio Tarver - flying her son to stay with him after knowing him for only a few weeks. Then she found out that he was engaged and she was just his jump off. But Superhead was classy about the break up. When she saw Antonio kissing his wife she said, "I recall his face and lips between my legs, licking and sucking my cl*t and a**hole. I wonder how I tasted to her."

On Johnnie Gill:
She's now trying to get with singer Johnnie Gill. According to her, Johnnie has been trying to kick it for months and she's been rejecting him. By the end of the book, she was ready to give him a try.

Superhead seems to have no clue how much of a Z-Lister that she really is. All throughout the book, she constantly talks about how she's famous. We constantly found ourselves wondering out loud, is this dumb chick serious?? Here are a few examples:

When told that she couldn't attend Magic Johnson's party if she didn't come with Bobby Brown, Superhead told the party planner, "I'm a bigger celebrity than Bobby Brown right now"

Superhead made the following statements: "In a life filled with red carpets and black-tie galas, it is sometimes difficult to stay grounded and live in the real world."

"Sometimes I feel guilty for being so successful. I am uncomfortable with it at times and downplay it to friends."

"The beautiful people in Hollywood hide ugly secrets ... We are all smiling and carrying on as if we were not all scared to death of who we are."

"I wear Confession Of a Video Vixen on my sleeve only in Black Hollywood, which, thankfully, is a very small part of Hollywood itself."

"As I glided through the crowd of A-List celebrities and top businesspersons, I knew I belonged there."

Most interesting revelation in the book:
Superhead broke the news to Bobby that Ray J was dating Whitney. She told him, "Ray J is f*cking your wife right now ... and I heard she loves it ... and she should - he is so f*cking good at it."

Damn, Where's my Vibrator....LOL

Salt N Pepa Reality Show (Mon. Oct. 15 - VH1)

Aw man, I love me some Salt-N-Pepa. Back in the day, I can remember my little brother Sean being so in love with him some Pepa. I loved the facts that they were female rappers and they were BRINGIN IT. The show details some of the reasons the girls broke up. Like Salt needing to get right with herself. I definately understand that, and how things can change as you get older. But I feel Pepa's energy about trying to put the show back on the road. Maybe with a little different flavor something new can pop off. (Because we're all getting older and I'm not sure I wanna see either of them "Push it Real Good" Not even for the show. LOL)

Oh yeah, and is it me; or did Pepa have some serious work done on her face????

Serena's New Man has a JACKED UP HAIRLINE

Jena 6 March - September 20, 2007

A massive rally in the small town of Jena, Louisiana takes a surrealistic turn as Martin Luther King III is thrust onto the spotlight. The son of the slain civil rights icon is seen here speaking to CNN reporter Kyra Phillips as thousands of protesters march—including Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson—in support of the six black teenagers initially charged with attempted murder in the beating of a white classmate.

King says some type of punishment should be in order for the six defendants but "the justice system isn't applied the same to all crimes and all people." The six teens were initially charged with attempted murder for a schoolyard fight with white students. This followed an ugly and escalating series of racially motivated incidents that started when three white hung nooses from a tree on high school grounds. Their suspensions were later overturned by the school district.

None of the majority white town's politicians, civic leaders or ministers have spoken against the noose—an offensive symbol reminiscent of lynchings—or the exclusion of black students from certain areas on the school grounds. Yesterday the "prosecutor ran out to television cameras flanked by a cadre of white men to argue that his decision to pursue the case was not based on race."

This morning and for the very first time, President George W. Bush spoke on the situation in the small Louisiana town and says he is "saddened" by the events but refuses comment because "this is an ongoing trial, and litigation is taking place." Compare this to the President's intervention in the Scooter Libby case during "an ongoing trial" where "litigation" and prosecution was taking place.

The situation in Jena has attracted a broad coalition of support from across the progressive community. The National Black Justice Coalition is in Jena and the Human Rights Campaign live blogs events in here. HRC President Joe Solmonese notes "injustice against one of us, is a cold, hard reminder that injustice in America still exists for a lot of us."

Jesse Jackson says Obama is Acting White Regarding Jena 6

Jesse Jackson is accusing presidential candidate Barack Obama of "acting white" Well, technically he is part white.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson sharply criticized Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama Tuesday over his reaction to the arrest of six black juveniles in Jena, Louisiana on murder charges, accusing the Illinois senator of "acting like he's white," according to a South Carolina newspaper.

The comments reportedly came during a speech at Columbia’s historically black Benedict College.

The State newspaper reports Jackson later said he did not recall saying Obama is "acting like he's white," but continued to condemn the Illinois Democrat as well as the other presidential candidates for not bringing more attention to this issue.

Woman Tortured in W. Virginia Faces Criminal Charges as Well

The West Virginia torture victim may not be as innocent as we originally thought. Law enforcement in 3 counties brought bad check charges against Megan Williams, 20. Williams was raped and tortured for more than a week in a ramshackle trailer home by 6 whites.

In another courtroom Tuesday, Megan Williams answered outstanding warrants from three counties charging her with crimes involving worthless checks. She was released on $8,000 bond.

Williams, who clutched a small teddy bear in court, was wearing a brace on her right hand and a bandage on her left ankle. She was accompanied by her parents, and her mother held her through portions of the proceeding. Williams' mother also accompanied her during a brief period in a holding cell.

Hearings on the charges will be held in each county. Williams' father, Matthew, told Magistrate Ward Harshbarger, "She'll be there."

O. J. Simpson Arrested

LAS VEGAS - O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday and faces multiple felony charges in an alleged armed robbery of collectors involving the former football great's sports memorabilia, authorities said.

Simpson was arrested shortly after 11 a.m., Capt. James Dillon said.

Prosecutors were planning to charge Simpson with two counts of robbery with use of a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, burglary with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and coercion, said Clark County District Attorney David Roger.

A conviction on the most serious charge, robbery with use of a deadly weapon, could bring a sentence of three to 35 years for each count, he said.

"He is facing a lot of time," Roger said.

Simpson was being held at Las Vegas police offices pending the arrival of his lawyer, who was expected later Sunday, Dillon said.

"He was very cooperative, there were no issues," Dillon said.

At least one other person has been arrested and police said Sunday that as many as six people could be arrested in connection with the alleged armed robbery that occurred in a room inside the Palace Station casino-hotel on Thursday.

Simpson, 60, has said he and other people with him were retrieving items that belonged to him. Simpson has said there were no guns involved and that he went to the room at the casino only to get stolen mementos that included his Hall of Fame certificate and a picture of the running back with J. Edgar Hoover.

Simpson told The Associated Press on Saturday that he did not call the police to help reclaim the items because he has found the police unresponsive to him ever since his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, were killed in 1994.

"The police, since my trouble, have not worked out for me," he said, noting that whenever he has called the police "It just becomes a story about O.J."

The Heisman Trophy winner, ex-NFL star and actor lives near Miami and has been a tabloid staple since his ex-wife and Goldman were killed in 1994. Simpson was acquitted of murder charges, but a jury later held him liable for the killings in a wrongful death lawsuit.

Police said two firearms and other evidence were seized at a private residence early Sunday.

Walter Alexander, 46, of Arizona, was arrested Saturday night on two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon.

He was released without bail on Saturday night, Dillon said.

Besides the two firearms, police said they seized other evidence during early morning searches of two residences, Lt. Clint Nichols said.

"It was evidence of a crime that was committed," Nichols said. "And I believe we recovered some clothing that the individual was wearing in the commission of the robbery."

Simpson said auction house owner Tom Riccio called him several weeks ago to say some collectors were selling some of his items. Riccio set up a meeting with collectors under the guise that he had a private collector interested in buying Simpson's items.

Simpson said he was accompanied by several men he met at a wedding cocktail party, and they took the collectibles.

Alfred Beardsley, one of the sports memorabilia collectors involved in the alleged robbery, has said he wants the case dropped and that he's "on O.J.'s side."

Is Gabrielle Union a Homewrecker & Disturbing the Peace in the ATL

Rumor has it that actress Gabrielle Union is dating Ludacris. The rumors intensified when Gabby attended Luda's 30th birthday soiree in Las Vegas last weekend. But nothing could be further from the truth. Yes, Luda has his chicks on the side (in addition to his baby mama), but Gabby isn't one of them.

As you know, every rumor holds a kernel of truth: Gabby has been dating someone within Luda's Disturbing the Peace camp. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out who he is if you've seen Gabby out and about in Atlanta in the past year. They attend all industry events together when she's in town - though he maintains a discrete distance from her. In fact, I saw them together at the Body Tap recently.

Before they even got out of his car he sent a flunky over to tell me they would not be taking pictures. Luda wasn't in the house that night. The kicker is the DTP executive isn't single and he has small children at home.

Piddy's Little Girls Mom Speaks Out on Kim Porter

Sandra Rose spoke by phone with Sarah Chapman, the mother of Sean Combs first daughter who turned one last week. Here's what the conversation was about:

I am honored that Sarah chose Sandrarose.com to give her very first interview - even though she didn't originally intend to be interviewed by me. Sarah was soft spoken and articulate during our 40-minute phone conversation. There are things she told me that I chose not to publish here. Never one to be greedy, I knew this wasn't the right forum for what she had to say. I asked Sarah to speak to someone at a national magazine to get her story out. I told her how much money she could make for her story, but Sarah wasn't impressed with the money. She was so humble that I was awed by her. She wanted to speak to me first, she said. She was happy that I portrayed her in a positive light, but she wanted to clear up a few errors in yesterday's post regarding Kim Porter's interview with Essence magazine. Sarah said, "I just wanted to let you know that whatever you write about me I want it to be truthful things.""I never moved out of Atlanta," she said. "I have always lived here and I'm definitely 33. I graduated [from Spelman] in '96. My birthday is next week and I'm going to be 34," she said. "I never ran away from Atlanta because I was pregnant." Sarah, who was born in Minneapolis, said she moved to Atlanta at age 17 to attend Spelman College.Sarah's response to Kim's assertion that she didn't know her: "A lot of what you said is true about me and Kim. There's so much more to the story than that. She definitely knows who I am," said Sarah. "Yes, it's true, we've had words. [Kim] knew about my pregnancy prior to her getting pregnant. In fact, Kim and I met [Sean] at the same time." Sarah stressed that she doesn't seek out the spotlight: "That's not for me. I don't enjoy that. I'll let Kim have that" She also talked about the rumors that surrounded her pregnancy last year: "There's been rumors out there that [Sean Combs] offered me a million dollars to not have the baby, said Sarah. "If he gave me a million dollars I wouldn't be calling him every month for child support," she joked. "I mean, he pays me on a monthly basis, but there's rumors that he offered me a million dollars hush money." About her longterm relationship with Sean, Sarah said, "He and I are friends, we've always been friends. I've known him for a long time - 13 years exactly. Sarah adding that they dated "on and off" over those years. "I know it sounds very cliché, but we really are friends. It's never been a situation where I'm trying to step on top of [Kim] or I'm trying to be in her position."Sarah expressed surprise that Kim dropped her name in the Essence interview. "She threw my name in that shit," said Sarah, raising her voice slightly. Regarding Kim's revelation that Kim didn't speak to Sean Combs about Sarah's baby until after her twins were born, Sarah said, "the scary part is that any woman can be with a man and not even mention to him 'oh, I heard you got another woman pregnant' - that's really scary. For the longest time she never mentioned my pregnancy to him. She kept it a secret to herself so it wouldn't take the shine off of her," said Sarah. "I thought [Sean] was lying, but he said Kim never mentioned my pregnancy to him."Sarah stressed she wanted the opportunity to tell her side of the story in a national forum. "I don't have a voice," she said softly. "I don't have a forum to speak about my child. He has the forum. I'm not a superstar, he's the superstar. He's the person that should be out there acknowledging his child. I'm going on with my daily life and raising my child. We do what we do. We go to Sesame Street and the zoo," said Sarah. "Now that she's lured me out, let me paint the picture. I don't want anyone else to paint the picture. Let me have a say so," she said. "I need to have a voice. I want to be heard."

Remy Ma Charges are Reduced - WTF

Remy's attempted murder charge for shooting her friend in the stomach over $2000.00 has been reduced to first degree assault.
(You shoot someone intentionally in the torso and it's not attempted murder?? BullShit)
Recently, Remy had her boys jump one of the witnesses' boyfriend's and is looking at new charges of witness-tampering and gang-assault.
Check, it. Remy and her boys were hanging out in a Bronx club when she approached dude and his friend and said, "Your girlfriend's changing her [phone] number on me, and people are taking the stand." They say Remy's boys came over and next thing you know, the two dudes are in the hospital, one with a broken jaw and the other with fractures in his skull. Remy will find out next Thursday if she will have to face the new charges.

Keisha Cole Talks about Her Life in Essence

ESSENCE: Were you always going to be a solo artist?

KEYSHIA COLE: Well, actually, I was gonna be in a group with these two girls. We were in Los Angeles and we were working with Damon Elliot, who is Dionne Warwick’s son, and he was like, “Keysh, if you wanna sign with the girl group, you can; but I’ll sign you solo.” And I was like, I’d rather be solo because I do everything in the group anyway. They’re just pretty. We were gonna get, like, a $30,000 advance and split it ten/ten/ten; but I figured, “Why should I give them my $20,000 when I can get it myself?” So I told them, “I’m sorry, but I can’t.” Then I recorded a couple songs with Damon and one of them was (the hit single) “Love.”

ESSENCE: Early in your career you went to Los Angeles and met legendary music producer Suge Knight and Tupac Shakur. What was that like?

COLE: My brother was close with Pac, he got records with Pac and everything. And Pac’s mother is really cool with my brother and me. So to me, Pac was just like a big brother. That time was like one of the biggest moments in history, and I saw everything. I was with them in Malibu and Vegas and I stayed in the “big house” by myself. I knew the world, the whole industry, everything. I was only fourteen.

ESSENCE: You recently got out of a serious relationship. How’s that been?

COLE: After my ex-boyfriend told me to go on and live my life, I saw him at a place with another girl. I was pissed! I tried to rip her head off. Then he was like, “Dude, you broke up with me.” But that’s just what it is.

ESSENCE: Your sister, Neffeteria, who plays a big part in your BET reality show, The Way It Is (premiering October 30), seems to have had a pretty difficult life. What advice do you give her?

COLE: I’ve told her, “You need to work on you.” After going through so much, you really gotta worry about yourself first. Everything else is secondary. Everything else. Husband, kids…well, not the kids, ’cause she takes care of those babies very well. But really, you gotta work on yourself first. If you don’t, you ain’t gonna be able to deal with people.

ESSENCE: How do you feel about constantly being compared to Mary J. Blige?

COLE: I feel like we are very similar based on everything we’ve been through in our personal lives. It’s helped make us sing the way we sing. Because she didn’t have a vocal coach, and neither did I. And when I met her I told her, “You winning all those Grammy’s—congratulations—it gives me inspiration to this day that maybe I can do the same thing.” You know, it’s just a real big life circle. I think there are a lot of things that she could tell me that’d help me. I’m not trying to take nobody’s place or nothing like that. But I’m just saying, as a woman—as a young Black woman—if she knows some of the answers, Give ’em to me!” (Laughing.) But she said that I could call her anytime. I just haven’t done it yet.

No Hate Crime Charges Filed in the West Virginia Torture Case of Young Black Woman

There will be no hate crime charges filed in the West Virgina torture case of a young black woman the county prosecutor said Wednesday. Logan County Prosecutor Brian Abraham told the Associated Press the crime didn't fit the category of a hate crime because the victim, Megan Williams, previously dated one of the defendants, Bobby Brewster.

"She obviously had some sort of social relationship," Abraham said. "That is based on the fact that she was present at his residence on a prior date."Megan Williams, 20, was found beaten and bruised at Brewster's mother's home in rural Big Creek on Saturday.Abraham said he plans to pursue kidnapping charges against the suspects, and the FBI is looking into possible civil rights violations.

In Crazy Folks News!!!

In her new book "Celebrity Detox" Rosie O'Donnell admits to hurting herself as a child.

The Insider reports:

She writes that as a child, she used to break her own limbs with "a baseball bat" or a "wooden hanger."

On page 186, it reads:

"My hands and fingers usually. No one knew. My secret." Why? "Proof," she writes, "that I had some value, enough to be fixed." And later, Rosie cryptically adds, "There were many benefits to having a cast. In the middle of the night, it was a weapon."

Sounds like she needed a "weapon" because maybe someone was messing with her at night? Hmmmm. I heard that girls become lesbians after that type of abuse.

Now I am Going to Suck Your Feet......WTF???

Need more proof that Crazy MOFO's walk this earth on a daily basis?

Look no further. Meet Carlton Davis. The Minnesota man, 26, is facing felony charges for allegedly stealing a cell phone and purse from a woman he mugged on a St. Paul street early Saturday morning.

According to police, after the woman turned over her belongings, Davis announced, "Now I'm going to suck your feet." Which he did, after the 24-year-old victim removed her shoes. Davis, who fled when passersby approached, was apprehended by cops a few blocks from the crime scene. He was booked into the Ramsey County lockup, where his mug shot was snapped.

Noose Hung at University or Maryland

Black student leaders at the University of Maryland have called for a communitywide "speak-out" Tuesday to encourage people to express outrage about a noose discovered hanging from a tree last week on the College Park campus. At a meeting Monday between student leaders and senior administration officials, UM police said they believed the small noose had been hanging for about two weeks before it was reported to them. Authorities are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime because of the rope's proximity to a cultural center used mainly by African-American campus organizations."The speak-out will occur on Tuesday, Sept. 11, because this is terrorism," said Shawna Murray, a vice president of the black student union. "We're a collective and we've organized and we're prepared to say that as a Terp community, we're not going to stand for this."

To many people -- particularly on a formerly segregated campus like College Park -- a dangling noose evokes memories of lynching. African-Americans make up about 13 percent of UM undergraduates and 7 percent of graduate students. The speak-out event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. in front of the McKeldin Library on the sprawling Prince George's County campus.University police spokesman Paul Dillon said authorities were "perplexed" about why the noose apparently dangled in plain view for two weeks without being reported or removed, but suggested it might simply have gone unnoticed.According to a police analysis of a photo, the rope was about 3 feet long, with a noose about 2 inches to 3 inches in diameter. Before it was cut down and destroyed by UM maintenance workers Friday, the rope hung about 15 feet above the ground in a walkway between the student union and the Nyumburu Cultural Center, which houses the black faculty association and a black newspaper. The assistant editor of the Black Explosion newspaper, who reported the noose to police Friday, said Monday that it appeared even smaller in person than it did in a photo published this week in the Diamondback student newspaper."Whoever tied it wasn't a great noose-maker, let's put it that way," said Ajan Brown, 21, a sophomore journalism major from Seattle. Still, Brown said it resembled a lynching noose "enough to be offensive to me."Anne Carswell, an administrator in the Nyumburu center, said she saw the noose hanging Thursday, but hesitated to notify authorities out of fear of overreacting. "I didn't feel comfortable calling the police department, because I didn't want them to think I was blowing something up."Asha-Lateef Dobbs, president of UM's black graduate student association, said that kind of reaction suggests a worrying trend on campus."That's something we need to address," she said. "What is the culture here? What is the climate here that didn't make whomever saw it feel like they could just pick up the phone and say, 'You know what? There's a noose hanging outside of the [student] union'?"Despite such concerns, Dobbs and other student leaders praised the administration's quick condemnation of the noose over the weekend, and the police department's immediate characterization of it as a suspected hate crime.Police do not have any suspects, Dillon said. He made an appeal to students for help in identifying the culprit. "One of the keys to solving this crime is finding out why this noose was placed in the tree," he said. The last major hate crime investigated at UM was in 1999, when several black officials and student leaders received racist threats. No one was charged in those crimes, Dillon said.gadi.dechter@baltsun.com

WOMAN TORTURED IN HATE CRIME

BIG CREEK, W.Va. — A young black woman who authorities say was tortured for days at a remote hillside home, sexually assaulted and forced to eat rat droppings was not a random target, the county prosectutor said today.

One of the six suspects arrested in the case, Bobby Brewster, had a previous relationship with the victim, Logan County Prosecutor Brian Abraham told The Associated Press. He said Brewster had been charged in July with domestic battery and assault after a domestic dispute involving the same woman.

"She obviously had some sort of social relationship," Abraham said. "That is based on the fact that she was present at his residence on a prior date."

Megan Williams, 20, was found beaten and bruised at Brewster's mother's home in rural Big Creek on Saturday.

Abraham said he plans to pursue kidnapping charges against the suspects, and the FBI is looking into possible civil rights violations.

According to the criminal complaints, Williams' captors, all of them white, choked her with a cable cord and stabbed her in the leg while calling her a racial slur, poured hot water over her, made her drink from a toilet and made her eat dog feces and rat droppings. She was also beaten and sexually assaulted during a span of about a week, according to the complaints.

It wasn't until an anonymous tip led Logan County Sheriff's deputies to the property on Saturday that her ordeal ended. She limped toward the deputies, her arms outstretched as she cried, "Help me!"

Abraham said he is still reviewing whether to file hate crime charges in the case.
At one point, an assailant cut the woman's ankle with a knife and used the N-word in telling her she was victimized because she is black, according to the criminal complaints.

Abraham said his office would pursue the other charges first because they carry stiffer penalties. West Virginia's hate crime law carries a sentence of up to 10 years.

"I don't understand a human being doing another human being the way they did my daughter," Williams' mother, Carmen Williams, said Tuesday from her daughter's hospital room. "I didn't know there were people like that out here."

The Associated Press generally does not identify suspected victims of sexual assault, but Williams and her mother agreed to release her name. Carmen Williams said she wanted people to know what her daughter had endured.

Police tape now surrounds the entrances to the beige-and-brown mobile home. An extension cord runs from the home to a cramped shed where authorities believe Megan Williams was held with a portable stereo, a locker and a power saw.

The suspects in the case have previous arrest records going back several years, according to records from Logan County Magistrate Court, and Abraham said he had "some familiarity with all those individuals."

Since 1991, police have filed 108 criminal charges against the six.

Brewster's mother, Frankie Brewster, 49, faced the most serious charges among them. She was charged in 1994 with first-degree murder, but pleaded guilty to lesser charges of manslaughter and wanton endangerment. She was released from prison in 2000 after serving five years in the death of 84-year-old Polly T. Ferrell, court records show.

In Williams' case, Frankie Brewster is charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, malicious wounding and giving false information during a felony investigation.
Bobby Brewster, 24, also of Big Creek, is charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, malicious wounding and assault during the commission of a felony.
Danny J. Combs, 20, of Harts, is charged with sexual assault and malicious wounding.
Karen Burton, 46, of Chapmanville was charged with malicious wounding, battery and assault during the commission of a felony.
Burton's daughter, Alisha Burton, 23, and George A. Messer, 27, both of Chapmanville, are charged with assault during the commission of a felony and battery. She previously faced charges of assault during the commission of a felony and battery; in May, she was accused of striking Messer with a shovel and smashing the window of a woman's car. The charges are pending.
All six remained in custody Wednesday in lieu of $100,000 bail each.

Public Defender Dwyane Adkins, appointed to represent Bobby Brewster, declined to comment on the case. The other defendants' court-appointed lawyers were either in hearings or did not immediately return telephone calls Wednesday.

The home at Big Creek is quiet now. Newborn pups sleep in the entryway to the small shed, their mother protectively barking at approaching strangers.

Megan Williams, her right arm in a cast, may be well enough to leave the hospital within a few days, her mother said.

"I just want my daughter to be well and recover," Carmen Williams said. "I know the Lord can do anything."

FOXY Boo Sentenced to One Year in Jail

Foxy Brown got sentenced to one year in the Brink. Foxy Brown was sentenced Friday to one year in jail for violating probation that stemmed from a fight with two manicurists in a New York City nail salon three years ago.
"I'm not going to give you any more chances," Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson told the 28-year-old rapper. "I hope you turn your life around and never again have to stand in a court of law."Probation Department officials asked for the hearing after Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was arrested Aug. 14 in Brooklyn on charges of assaulting Arlene Raymond, 25.Brown was accused of hitting the woman with a cell phone on July 30 when the pair fought over the music volume from Brown's car stereo.
Just before the hearing began, Brown, her hands shackled to a scuffed brown belt that settled on the hips of her elegant gray pantsuit, asked the judge for yet another chance at freedom and promised to straighten out her life. Jackson had jailed her Aug. 22 to await the hearing."I'm willing to do whatever I need to do to change," Brown told the judge. She said she had made a lot of mistakes. "I realize that's not where I want to be. It's humbled me in ways I never imagined."The judge replied, "Ms. Marchand, it's too little, too late. I'm glad you're learning something; that's a positive.
"The judge found Brown had left the state without permission; had moved her residence from Brooklyn to Mahwah, N.J., without permission; had failed to notify the department of an arrest in Mahwah; had failed to report to probation officers, and had dropped court-ordered anger management sessions with a psychologist. Probation officials said Brown, in Florida without permission on Feb. 15, was arrested for allegedly throwing hair glue at a beauty shop employee when he asked her to leave because the shop was closing. Brown later struggled with an officer who was called to the shop, and she was charged with battery and resisting an officer with violence, police said. Brown was released after posting a $1,500 bond. That case is pending. Brown was on probation after pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault of two manicurists at a Manhattan nail salon in August 2004 in a fight over how much she owed.
The one-year sentence means Brown, with time off for good behavior for her detention that began last month, will be eligible for parole in eight months. At the start of the hearing, Probation Department lawyer Matilda Leo told the judge that Brown had been indicted Friday in Brooklyn on charges of assault, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon — the cell phone_ in the alleged assault on Raymond. Last month, in a court appearance before Jackson after the arrest related to Raymond, defense lawyers told the judge the rapper was three months pregnant. No mention was made Friday by anyone about Brown expecting a baby.

**Monday Morning Funny**

A man and a woman were sitting beside each other in the first class section of an airplane. The woman sneezed, took out a tissue, gently wiped her nose, then visibly shuddered for ten to fifteen seconds.

The man went back to his reading. A few minutes later, the woman sneezed again, took a tissue, wiped her nose, then shuddered violently once more.

Assuming that the woman might have a cold, the man was still curious about the shuddering. A few more minutes passed when the woman sneezed yet again. As before, she took a tissue, wiped her nose, her body shaking even more than before.

Unable to restrain his curiosity, the man turned to the woman and said, "I couldn't help but notice that you've sneezed three times, wiped your nose and then shuddered violently. Are you ok?"

"I am sorry if I disturbed you, I have a very rare medical condition; whenever I sneeze I have an
orgasm."

The man, more than a bit embarrassed, was still curious. " I have never heard of that condition
before" he said. "Are you taking anything for it?"

The woman nodded, yes "PEPPER"

Excerpts from Kim Porter's Essence Interview Regarding Breakup w/ Diddy

Kim Porter gets her vent on in Essence magazine regarding the circumstances of her breakup with longtime boyfriend and babydaddy, Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In the October issue, on newsstands Sept. 12, Porter also talks freely about the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back in their relationship, stating the incident destroyed her trust in Diddy and led directly to the end of their 12-year, on-again off-again union.

The following are excerpts from Porter’s interview in Essence:

On Breaking Up:
ESSENCE: Were you scared?
KIM PORTER: No! Not at all. But I wanted to be dramatic. I wanted him to know I wasn't breaking up with him for two weeks-or maybe leaving for two days. If I pack up everything — twins and all — it means I'm out! Puffy's an action person, not a talk person. So I had to have an action. Telling him, “Babe, I'm leaving…” was not gonna do it.

On Marriage:

ESSENCE: After our last article (“No Ordinary Love,” Essence, December, 2006), some readers responded by saying Sean was disrespecting you by not getting married. They said you should be trying to get that ring on your finger.
KIM PORTER: Do you know how many rings I have? I don't even have enough fingers (laughing). That's not why I left.

ESSENCE: So if he called you today and said, “I want to get married, right now….”?
KIM PORTER: I would say “No.” And not because I don't want to get married, but because he's not ready to get married. When I get married, I want to stay married. I want both parties to be on the same page at the same time, and to leave a certain type of behavior behind. That's a commitment I don't think he's ready for.

On the secret behind their breakup:

ESSENCE: Speaking of being faithful, there have been rumors about Sean and a baby in Atlanta swirling around for a while. Is this why you left the relationship?

KIM PORTER: Hmmm... Well, that definitely was part of it.

Jay-Z's New 40/40 Club and Upcoming Wedding to B

Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter is continuing to make major moves in his business ventures. As he revealed in a press conference yesterday, the entrepreneur will open up the 3rd of his co-owned 40/40 Sports Clubs on Dec 20 at the new Palazzo resort in Las Vegas.

Beyonce was all smiles as Jay-Z gave his brief speech and according to Robin Leach’s blog, Jay-Z hinted at possible nuptials..
Even though he laughed when I told him he was in the wedding capital of the world the rapper and recpord mogul refused to tell me when he’s going to tie the knot with his superstar singer girlfriend.

“All I’ll say is that it will be soon- and that means sooner rather than later. Now if the hotel here can throw in a big ring and the honeymoon suite we could go off right now."

Superhead Did it Again - Shaq Shoulda Known Better

Since the report of their divorce proceedings earlier this week, everyone has been running wild trying to find out what went down between Shaq & Shaunie. As reported earlier, Shaq’s lawyer said, “The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken..” So we know some drama was going on behind that happy facade. Of course we have no proof that any of the allegations below are true, but hey who doesn’t like gossip.

Here is some of the back story, according to our friends over at Panache Report.

Unconfirmed rumors indicate that Shaunie O’Neal was either involved or married to one of Shaq’s reps before they hooked up. During the marriage, Shaunie lived the glamorous life in a mansion on Star Island (Florida).

Allegations of infidelity involving both parties is the current rumor.

Allegedly, Shaunie was anticipating a divorce because she reportedly stashed large sums of money away in overseas trusts and Swiss and Cayman numbered accounts.

Before Shaq hooked up with Shaunie, he was involved with former Playmate and current actress (Passions) Daphne Duplaix, (above). He allegedly purchased her a Mercedes before they broke up.

Another rumor that has been going around is that Shaunie was cheating on Shaq with her 27 year-old personal trainer. One of Shaq’s employee’s claims that Shaq suspected it for awhile.

Now let’s get to Superhead and her media whoring self. She sat down with the NY Daily News and spoke on the O’Neal break up.

“On the first date, he gave me $10,000,” Karinne Steffans told us yesterday. The infamous “Video Vixen” said she had a relationship with O’Neal after he became engaged to his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Shaunie.”Over four months, [he spent] more than $40,000 on me, as far as I can remember.” Which makes it awkward when she runs into the wives — like she did with Mrs. O’Neal in July. “Just recently at the ESPY awards,” she chuckled, “we both had the same hairstyle and everything.”

Superhead is a lost cause and damn hypocrite, but that’s besides the point. We’ll keep y’all updated on the latest rumors in this surprising break up.

Shaq's Getting a Divorce

After nearly five years of marriage and four children together, Shaquille O'Neal filed for divorce from his wife Shaunie in Miami on Tuesday.

"The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken," reads the petition, which was filed by O'Neal's lawyer, Ira Elegant, in Miami-Dade Circuit Court on Tuesday. It is not known who is representing Shaunie, according to The Miami Herald.

The petition reveals that the couple has a prenuptial agreement, according to the Herald, which also reports that should the court agree, a copy of the agreement "will be filed ... under seal."

The agreement "contains extensive provisions providing for confidentiality and non-disclosure."

O'Neal also says in the petition that Shaunie has been "secretive about her assets ... particularly with respect to certain properties owned or titled in either [her] name alone or in other entities" and requests that the court require Shaunie to give a "correct accounting of all money, funds, stocks, bonds, and other securities (including bearer securities)" acquired during the marriage.

Neither Shaq nor the Heat responded to requests for comment, the Herald reports. The basketball star makes $20 million a year playing for the Heat, and nets even more through lucrative endorsement deals thought to be worth millions every year. The couple's home – on Miami Beach's exclusive Star Island – is up for sale for $32 million, according to the Associated Press.

Shaq married his then-longtime girlfriend Shaunie Nelson on Dec. 26, 2002, in a lavish, top-secret ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The couple have four children together: Shareef, 7, Amirah, 5, Shaqir, 4, and Me'Arah, 1. Shaq, 35, also has a daughter, Taahirah, from an earlier relationship and Shaunie, 32, has a son, Myles.

Shaq recommends that his wife be "primary residential custodian" of their children and asks for "liberal rights of visitation," the Herald reports.

The insider tells MediaTakeOut.com, "Shaunie and [the trainer] started off having weekly sessions. But they increased the number of sessions until she was seeing him almost every day." 15-year-old starts freshman year at Penn

By KATHY MATHESON, Associated Press WriterSun Sep 2, 3:34 PM ET
Brittney Exline is too young to vote, drive a car or go to an R-rated movie, but at the age of just 15 she is beginning her Ivy League career Wednesday when classes start at the University of Pennsylvania.
She said she doesn't really notice the age gap between herself and her 17- and 18-year-old peers — and neither do they.
"I didn't tell people right off the bat that I was 15," Exline said. "A lot of people were pretty surprised."
Exline grew up in Colorado Springs, Colo., where at 8 years she was already in sixth grade. By 13 she had finished high school math. She turned 15 in February and graduated a few months later.
She's not preoccupied with how unique her accomplishments are. "I wouldn't even really realize that if people didn't tell me," she said. She excels at math and science and is really interested in politics, so she enrolled in a Penn program that will award her degrees from both the engineering and liberal arts schools when she graduates in 2011. But her resume also includes years of dancing and singing and a couple of teen pageant titles. "Her motivation, discipline and maturity provided clear evidence that, despite her age, she was ready to travel halfway across the country and thrive in Penn's rigorous academic environment," Eric Kaplan, interim dean of admissions, said in a statement.

There have been much younger college students: Jessica Meeker enrolled at Penn State two months before her 13th birthday, graduating in 2004 at age 16.

Exline's mother, Chyrese, a geriatric supervisor, said her concerns about her daughter's freshman year are probably no different from any other parent's. "We did our best to prepare her," Chyrese Exline said.

Exline has already been on the Philadelphia campus for about a month, participating in a pre-freshman acclimation program. Program counselor Noemi Maldonado described her as "extremely outgoing, very social, very friendly, very mature for her age."

Miguel Gonzalez, another program participant, said Exline revealed her age when a group of incoming freshmen were hanging out late one night.

"She's really cool for a 15-year-old," said Gonzalez, who turns 18 later this month. "We were surprised, but I don't think it's too shocking."

Charges reduced in 'Jena 6' attack

Prosecutors on Tuesday reduced the attempted murder charges against two more teenagers among the "Jena Six," a group of black high school students who were arrested following an attack on a white schoolmate.

Five of the teens were originally charged with attempted second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder, carrying sentences of up to 80 years in prison. The sixth faces undisclosed juvenile charges.

Civil rights advocates have decried the charges as unfairly harsh.

On Tuesday, charges against Carwin Jones and Theo Shaw were reduced to aggravated second-degree battery and conspiracy. That same reduction was made earlier for Mychal Bell, who was tried and found guilty and could be sentenced to 22 1/2 years at a hearing Sept. 20.

Also awaiting trial are Robert Bailey Jr. and Bryant Purvis, who still face attempted murder charges, and the unidentified juvenile.

The attack on Justin Barker, 18, came amid tense race relations in Jena, a mostly white town of 3,000 in north-central Louisiana where racial tensions have grown since incidents that started last school year at Jena High. After a black student sat under a tree on the school campus where white students traditionally congregated, three nooses were hung in the tree.

Students accused of placing the nooses were suspended from school for a short period.

The six black students were accused of beating and kicking Barker on Dec. 4. A motive for the attack was never established. Barker was treated at a hospital emergency room and released after about three hours.

Shaw's attorney, George Tucker, said Tuesday that he still doesn't believe his client will get a fair trial in Jena.

Shaw himself has dreams of attending Gramling State University. "Just drop all the charges and let us go on with our lives," the teenager told CNN Tuesday.
